Darcy & Renee, along with their children Colt & Kenzie and Darcy's father David, own and operate Fir River Livestock located in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Canada. We Run 250 cows, of which 125 are purebred gelbvieh. We also grain farm 2500 acres, and pollinate 1000 acres of alfalfa with leafcutter bees for seed production.

Darrell & Leila Hickman & Family have been breeding Gelbvieh cattle in North Central Alberta for the last 10 years. However, Gelbvieh roots run deep in this family as Leila's father imported the first Gelbvieh cattle into Canada in 1972.
